Finally started with winter maintenance. I got Arrow headers from the UK through @bimota his friend Kevin. Big shout out to Rob for making it possible!!! So she is getting headers, K&N filter, oil service, TBS and a flash. Looking forward to an improved bike. Not going for maximum power, but improved rideability.
Still have to calculate last years mileage but is going to be crap. Oil came out like new.

That is an awesome looking lift. Can you lean it against the wall when not in use?

Yeah it’s a cheap lift that works on a external compressor (not included). But still can lift 500kg, use it for a lot of things. You could easily put it against the wall but I wheal it around since there is a trolly included so that you can move it single handed.

could you post a picture of the trolley attached to the lift ? I have a different brand lift and the trolly is very difficult to use, it’s practically useless, maybe if I saw yours I could figure out a way to make mine work better

Oh wow, normal mileage over here is between 1000 and 5000km a year. Friend of mine rides every day of the year and throughout Europe on his Harley and averages about 30k a year.
Still have the UK on top of my list, wanna see wales and Scotland.
I’ve done Isle of Man when the races have been on (an absolute MUST do) AB’s the next time was Scotland up to Skye.
In Scotland, you just wear your wets all the time because it’s ALWAYS going to rain

No problem mate, I’ll do that tomorrow. I can even wheel it around with a bike on it. Easy does it ofcourse.

Fixed the Electronic Suspension. Had to remove the DC motor for the rear and turn the shaft counterclockwise until it stopped. Followed the instructions on page 4-123 of the service manual. Went into the diagnostic menu and adjusted the preload home, fired it up and confirmed it was able to adjust different rider modes and stiffness.
Well pleased with myself on this one.

So, the range limits just had to be "reset"? Odd. Wonder if they tried to increase the preload while sitting on it. I could see going from 1 helmet to 2 helmets with luggage after it was loaded being quite the strain on the motor. Regardless, well done.

that could have been what happened. This bike was used as a rental so definitely possible whoever rented it didn’t know what they were doing. I’m just glad I don’t have to shell out whatever the shop would’ve charged me lol

Installed my new tank grips - link below

I picked these up on sale for $10 a pair. Got two pairs just to have a set in the future and because I like the look of them.
Reviews say the adhesive on these is garbage, I picked up a can of 3M Super 77 in anticipation of this.
The reviews are not lying - the adhesive is hot garbage. Removed the old adhesive after the initial install failure and gave em a good spray with the Super 77. We’ll see how well they’ve adhered after a couple days.

It's my first ride on my newly flashed 2014 ES. It was barely above freezing, but I got in a 60-mile loop of roughly 30% dirt with bits of snow and ice thrown in to make things fun. Initial impressions are extremely favorable. She pulls HARD and STRONG from about 4k to redline. Sports mode is just about perfect now, and to my surprise, the throttle response in Touring mode is far less lazy. I cannot wait for the weather to warm up enough for me to hit up the canyons and the high country to really stretch her legs. Overall, anyone on the fence about flashing their Super Tenere, just do it; you won't regret it.

If memory serves, which it often doesn’t, you sent your ECU to Kirkland,WA to get flashed?

Anybody have the part number for the HEL brake and clutch line extension for the '23 year? I have the rox risers on the way and I am under the impression that extensions won't be needed but thinking about adding them just in case I get the bars in a position that the extra would help. Lot of down time right now with temps in the minus F and single digit numbers.
