Changed to LED marker lights and replaced a missing spoke nipple. Thanks yo @dragonaut for hooking me up with some overstock spokes and nipples!

Question: I've tightened and ping tested all the spokes but want to actually torque them. Since they're all relatively tight, can I just start at one point and torque around the wheel, or do I need to alternate in a cross pattern?
Hopefully this old post will help - see post #8, the EricV method: -

Sorry, I didn't see this.

Label the hubs on each side of the wheel 1-8

Set your torque wrench to 53.1in/lbs or 6nm

Star pattern to tighten spokes while checking for cracks. A 5mm hex ball socket works best for getting easier angles. Should keep your wheel true. You can also do the old trail trick of applying small zipties where the spokes intersect, so if you do ever have one come off entirely, it potentially won't be lost.

1, 5, 3, 7, 2, 6, 4, 8 is your tightening sequence.

What did you do to change to LED markers?

Got my bike with a tad over 3k miles on it, that was 7 years ago. During that time it has always had Yamalube semi synthetic oil, that’s 8 oil and filter changes. This morning at close to 46k miles I’ve gone over to the dark side and gone fully synthetic, with Castrol Power 1 10/40.
Once I ride it I’ll report back if there’s any noticeable difference.

Just the diff oil to change and I’m ready for my Scandinavian jaunt. UPDATE, Have changed the diff oil now, what came out looked as if it came straight out of the bottle…..but then it was in there for only about 5k miles. Used Motul FS.
Done about 300 miles on the FS oil now. I do think that the gearbox seems a bit slicker, other than that, just the same as Semi Synthetic.

I replaced the stock bars today with a different bend and nearly 3 inches narrower. Initial feel is very positive. Even just pushing it around my shop feels better. I've found the stock bars to have an uncomfortable hand placement and I've always felt they were far too wide. I feel that I have too much leverage at times and have to concentrate to be extremely gentle with steering input. I cannot wait to go for a ride to confirm.

Replaced leaky seal in the front of the final drive.
Thanks to Steve for the help and tools. Rode some class B dirt and gravel home to powder check for any more leaks.

I think this should be in the "where you took it", instead of "what you did to it" though.

Moderator EDIT: post where was being refered to is moved, @Sierra1 was right.

Motoz Tractionator adventure. Not any long distance highway trips in my future. More dirt oriented this year.
I love that tire! Only reason I even thought to take it off was to put on the Tractionator GPS so I could go to the top of Alaska and back taking the long way home. You will be very pleased with it.
