Can’t be too careful. The stakes are very high. I had two very serious mishaps on my Harleys due to 2 different dealership mechanics negligence. I tend to do as much as I can myself. I, nock on wood, have not had another incident.

When I have to use a professional I am real picky about who works on my bike. In fact almost 30k and I am the only one who has touched my bike, except for one recall.

Today marks my 7th month in hospital. I was due to be released yesterday but tested positive for covid so I’ll have to wait a bit longer. But my time in here has not been wasted and I have had the bike suspension tuned by MCT and a new Nitron shock fitted. Then there’s those Gucci Moskow panniers that have never been used yet…
Can’t wait to get home…

I used my motorcycle tire changer to put on new lug tires for my riding mower. It’s 12 years old with 230 hours. Tires are original. No brakes going down my steep hill. No bueno. I changed the brake spring. Better but no cigar. But I can cut the hill backing down it. Wella, 12 years not enough tread. Hopefully won’t have to do body “English” weight shift counter balance to cut the hill now.

Ordered a new set of 6 inch Shock Sox from eBay, after about 70,000 miles one of the Velcro tabs tore off the old set. $25.83 delivered, haven’t had a fork seal leak since I started using Shock Sox.

I need to order some of those too after my recent fork service. I don't recall how old mine were, but when I took them off, they looked like the shedded skin from a black mamba.

decided to finish my 2019 Tenere , it still needed a skid plate . AltRider does not show a skid plate for a super Tenere ,WOW. so I look to Touratech tech , they had one in stock , maybe the last one made for our bike . so I bought it . will be here 0n the 8th of august . the guy at tour tech said but was not certain ,that they might not make anymore for the super. he was surprised when I said that Yamaha still offers a 2022 model for sale . so if you have a bike and have not finished it (Farkle) it seems that some of the suppliers are dropping the super from their line.
I really don't need a skid plate but occasionally ride gravel roads so thought I should order one , almost too late.

I was out on Sunday and filled up with the intention of completely emptying the tank. I went over to reserve at 341.4 km. Totally empty at 424.1 km. From Reserve 82.7 km.
