Ordered my Madstad windshield and bracket. 20% off now through 12/31 with code SAVE20A and returns accepted until April. I have been on the fence about ordering this early, but with these offers I could not resist.

Hmm I wonder if I could just plug a US spec flasher unit it, I'm sure it would be fine in the UK as the Africa Twin has them on permanently. I think I need to investigate!

Yes. Interesting. Let us know how you go with that. A good way to add extra running lights and making the more visible triangle without hopefully too much trouble?

I too always run a bag or box on the back of my bikes for the same reason. I have a Moose adventure bag that came with the purchase of the tenere. My bum leg really benefits from the slightly lower rear plate. So much easier to swing it over, even with the bag on the rear. I also never have a passenger so no real need for a passenger seat.
I was liking the Moose Racing rear bag and discovered it has been discontinued / no longer manufactured. Bummer!

So I was putting some fuel additive in my bike a few weeks ago, when the spout from the bottle dropped in the fuel tank. Probably could have left it in there but with my luck it would have caused problems down the line. Pulled the tank yesterday and thought I would just turn it upside down and it would drop out ...no luck. Next step was to pull the fuel pump in the bottom of the tank, according to the Service Manual you should/must change the seal which I didn't have. The bike is just a year old so I replaced the fuel pump with the old one and worked out OK as I have no leaks, not a bad job and something I don't have to worry about.

Installed the heated grips (OEM). Went ok, but instructions were pain in the ass. Last little job was cyclops headlights and before that I added a Puig touring windscreen (dark smoke) and OEM wind deflectors.

Nothing yet, winter is in full swing but I bought a SW-Motech engine guard, Denali D4 2.0 auxiliary lights, windshield brakets that user Propsoto sells, and waiting delivery on Denali Datadim controler and auxiliary lights bracket. Now, if spring can come early.
That is what winter is for. No garage?
