put the side wind deflectors on (OEM). 'Not entirely sure they made that much of a difference in terms of wind noise but they do keep some of the wind off your torso. Yamaha did get the parts wrong tho, two of the well nuts where the wrong size for the plastic bolts supplied. I took them to the hardware and they turned out to be something like 10/24 SAE vs. metric. 'Not a fan of plastic bolts anyway but you sort of think they would have caught that by now.....

I've decided with 5 bikes and a scooter in the garage that this is a noble goal. So I am setting my new year's resolution now to ride >50% of the days in the year. I made a sweet spreadsheet with graphs and stuff to track my progress. It was a slow day.

183 riding days this year / 365.25 days

today I enjoyed my 183rd riding day of this year, 2015,
this is the first time in my life I can say I have ridden more than half the year...

50.102 per cent of the year.

15434 total kms on Super Tenere #2, 120594 total kms on Super Tenere #1
136028 Super Tenere kilometers safely ridden, although some were quicker than others.....

Looked for foliage after mounting the new top box a couple of days ago. The box is a Holan Nomada 45L. Member Jason of ADVMotorrad didn't have it in stock so I ordered it direct from Poland just to get it quicker than he could do, and had absolutely no problem. I forgot to order locks and Jason did have those.

Yesterday I spooned a Shinko 705 onto the front of my Super Tenere (put the rear on two weeks ago). Once again, I failed to master the Mojolever....relied on 3 tire irons (one of which raised a pretty good welt on my forehead!), a good dose of RuGlyde and several choice cuss words but managed to get the thing on. I used two large C-clamps to try and hold the tire in the center channel....sounded like a good idea. They basically kept the tire from rolling back over the rim...it was still a bear to mount.
At least I should be done with this chore for another 4-6k miles!

Mounted my new Enduristan tank bag. This bag is waterproof so my stuff won't get wet. ::26::

I'm picking my baby up tomorrow after getting a new oil pan installed. The dealer stripped the drain plug threads. Nothing today but riding tomorrow. ::015::
