Got my VA plate and inspection sticker. Didn't want to mess up those purdy forks with a sticker so I went to the Harley shop and got some new chrome!!

Rode the Blue Beast over for some BBQ in KC then headed South for a spin through the Ozarks of Arkansas back through Missouri. Ended up a bit over 1850 miles when all said and done. Had a blast ::022::

Dirt dad please keep us posted on the wear and feel of the E-09. I just got a set of E-07 because of the high recommendations from members here, but I REALLY like the look of the 09s .

Did or are you going to try an 09 front?

Keep us posted. ::008::

So did you document your ride for an IronButt certificate? 1850 in a day is a good ride!

I paid off the bike loan today, $85.57. That was the pay-off amount, anyway.

To celebrate, I rode to work. OK, I ride to work every day, which makes every day a celebration. ::018::

Learned the hard way that you cannot mount a Givi case to the stock rack, time to call Altrider!

The thing is a weak POS mine broke off with a hard case mounted on the back bouncing down a dirt road at 60mph, I made my own Aluminum cargo tray out of an old Stop sign..

Mounted the Altrider Bash Plate, not the easiest thing in the world to mount and oil changes aren't going to be fun. Looks like it will do the trick though in protecting things.

Also got the bars mounted.

Added a set of grip puppies too, stock grips are pretty thin.

Mounted Jesse 45L top box and rack. Bomb proof construction and heavy. Everything needed to mount top box on ST included. easy job. But box crowds pillion...going to drill new holes and move aft 4".

Anyone know of source of foot extender for 2014 alloy kickstand...old model does not fit.

Does the Jesse rack use the stock Yamaha lower rack?

I don't have one but I see that Altrider sells one. You're talking about the larger foot?

No...my Jesse top box came with everything and eliminates the plastic stuff with rugged steel structure. I appears to bolt directly to the subframe. Seems as strong as possible...note it is heavy though as the strucure is steel and the plate is a big alloy plate.

Anyone know where I can get a sidestand enlarger for the new ST alloy kickstand? Need it NOW!

Post pics of the jesse top box before and after the 4" move. I am considering the top box in large part to provide back rest for my pillion. Will attach to the Touratech rear plate.

@Silverfin - Google is your friend. Ride On ADV and a couple others make them. Search for"2014 Super Tenere side stand foot" w/o the quote marks.

How much room is there between the front of the oil filter and the altrider skid plate? We have no yamaha dealer here so i us k&n filters.

Added a set of grip puppies too, stock grips are pretty thin.

^ ^ ^, @helipilot...there isn't a ton of room with the AltRider plate, but it's enough to squeeze in a Mobil-1 filter ( MI-108 ) without dropping the plate. Does the KN have that typical little hex bump on the end? If so, bet it wouldn't fit.
