I won a set of OEM seats on Ebay for a bargain basement price and they are now on their way to Seth Laam to be customized. ::008::

Thanks for the photos garnotte I take it your racks are the Happy Trails, I am getting the same ones and was wondering how much space I had to relocate my farmers tube.
I picked one of these Aluminum German Army gas mask cases up for $4.00 yesterday at a Army surplus store, it's big overbuilt and has lots of room inside but need lots of room outside. I cut the straps off painting it black and wonder if I can find a home for it on the Tenere.

Maybe the only thing that comes close to a BMW on my ride!! ;D

That Nuke sticker is cool but wouldn't sit to well at my work in Los Alamos. :D

What bags are you sporting?

You're right, those are happy-trail rack.

The case are pelican storm 2600.
cheap and effective :)

I am mounting these my top case is the same but in large the sides are XL Doskocil Seal-Tight cases.

I also saw a bunch of these for $21.00 30mm Ammo cans top loaders I was hatching a plan as to how I could use them and give them a appealing look.
Until I picked one up WoW! around 15 to 20 or so pounds each I remember some of the KLR and Rat AVD guys used them.
Has lots of room and huge seals.17 1/4 x 8 3/4 x 14in high would make great side impact protection.
:D

Got to ride it again, this time with the doctor's permission... Amazed once again the difference the flash makes - if I could've experienced it first-hand I would've done it sooner and paid more for it if I had to.

Got the old girl looking exactly how I want her (with the possible addition of blacking out the subframe down the road) - up next is suspension later this year - which will, I'm told - make what is the best bike I've ever owned even better still. The same people who are telling me this also told me how great the flash is, so I have no reason to doubt them one bit...

Then Zega Pro panniers early next year, and I'm done farkling for a good while - just gonna Ride More and Worry Less...

Do you happen to have that doctors permission slip handy?
It's not that I don't believe you.

Nice Agritube setup.
I too had an agritube toolkit mounted inside the HappyTrail rack. But I just had it tie-strapped. Heavy Duty ones.

I still lost my tool at the base of Engineering pass, at the forks.
Those brackets.......you make them?

Nice setup.

I don't know your age, Snake, but I'll be damned if you don't sound just like my Dad - ;)

I am fully released to normal activity as long as it doesn't require lifting more than 20 pounds. Therefore, if I dropped the old girl I'd have to call in reinforcements to right her... Otherwise, I'm cleared to play at will...

Replaced the worn out OEM Battle Wings with some K60s on Friday. Took a 305 mile ride today. So far pleased with the change.
