I napped my bike 3x before I installed my Rumbux (once in gravel parking lot, there was a hole where I was trying to put my foot down at), once at a gas station (just a bozo mistake), and then in a muddy water filled rut. Since Installed my Rumbux - no drops.... And I've put more miles on it with the Rumbux, than without it. Good protection, it must have a gyro system that keeps you upright.

On the otherhand, I learned the stock protectors actually work pretty well.

Still messing with the bike in my spare time. Almost ready to ride... Here is a little guard we came up with for the rear brake... The light is not good because I cant roll the bike out in the sun, Etc..... Looking forward to posting new pictures of the bike when it comes out of hibernation...

Will the Rumbux skid plate work with Givi engine guards?
Yes, see page 278 for some pics. Rumbux and Givi use the same holes in two places up front, but you can install the Rumbux under and Givi over with some washers to space the back end out.

Doing this would be with the Rumbux Lower Bash Frame w/Skid Plate, not the whole system. The Full Rumbux 3-part set is stronger, for several reasons, not the least of which is it all being tied together and one piece from side to side.

Paired up my phone, GPS, and Sena head set today. Them went for a 135 mile ride. Some was dirt logging roads, the rest was beautiful twisty country back roads through Washington timber and farmlands. Got home just in time to pick the lid up from school.
You really shouldn't hide your 'lid' at school. O0

Dang it right after get my rumbux wind up working over every night to the point when I get home I just want to chill. So far only one nap No pictures no proof and thats my story and I am sticking to it :) I did take it and have it's 600 mile service done by the dealer. It was only a 28 degree wind chill when I headed out love heated grips and hopefully a new windshield is in the works depends on fleabay. Liking the Parabellum or the MRA Vario touring screen.

Fancy round back rest you have there :))
You noticed. :)

Yea, heading past Katy there is a Honda-Hawasaki-BMW-KTM dealer that my nephew works at. Don't get by that way often so I stopped into see him and show off his uncles S10. He went back in parts and came out with that big fat knobby. I couldn't resist.

WTHeck. It's adventure time. If I can get that K60 off easy enough, I just might wear me out a tire this weekend. :)

My wife says no more new bikes, SO,I figured a change was as good as a rest O:)
The fancy black beast has been "resting" in our cold Yukon winter for the last 5 months :'(
So I figured a change was in order :))
I stripped the tank & bodywork off-prepped & sent it out for new paint
Took my sweet Motorrad Carbon can off in preparation for my new "None" dual exhaust
(should be here tomorrow)

I picked up my bodywork today---WOW!!! paint really pops in the sunlight Tri-Diamond Pearl white ::012:: ::012::
Ordered worldcrosser decal kit , but still not sure if I will go that way or do full custom graphics
Still at least 2 months before I can ride so have a little time to think about this

More to follow ::015::
