I took some ones tip from this website and went to NAPA and picked up new six sided bolts to replace the Allen heads for the fuel tank mounts and the 10 little pesky Allen screws that hold the side panels on. So much easier I can have the tank popped up in less then a minute maybe 2.

Busy day yesterday!

Installed the MadStad adjustable windshield bracket, the cradle for my Zumo 550, Removed the Cig lighter socket, still trying to figure out what to do with the hole. Hardwired my GPS to the cig power, installed Altirder brashbars, bashplate, side stand pad, and UV joint guard... Still did ride. Weather here in the PNW sucks.

Or you can do what I'm going to do and is mentioned earlier by others - just take 2 or 3 of those 4 or 5mm allen heads off, then you can get a ratcheting 10mm box end wrench to get the tank bolt off and on. ::008::

Finished installing cargo loops and Tech Spec protective strips on my OEM side cases. Felt like I needed to mod some more, so I ordered a Saddlemen seat (normal height). >:D The split-gel design appears to be a crotch saver...will have to test that when riding season finally arrives.

Put air in the tires. The cheapest and best mod I ever made. Proper tire air pressure is so important, but often overlooked.

I hear ya, and watch that closely, but it still doesn't go far enough.

Be great to hear your thoughts on the Yoshi's performance and a sound vid if you have a chance.

Had a good day today I went for a ride picked up some better headlight globes and front parker globes when home to change them and got bogged in the driveway 3 times :))
Also had my stepson on his Bandit behind me bogged to the balls. It's been pretty wet here and we got sick of sitting around so we took off
Anyway new headlight globes are in it now

Went for a ride finally to test my new Madstaad bracket with the stock shield. I'm impressed. I had it at max height adjustment and very near vertical almost all the way straight up. Wore a full face helmet (Scorpion) and ear plugs (like I always do on all rides), baklava as it was 36 degrees and breezy (crosswinds mostly). Highway speeds up and down felt great as far as wind buffering and looks like I will not need the OEM winglets for now. When I tried ducking into the windshield it actually created more noise so I am very happy with this mod. I need to do more tests when its warmer so I dont use the baklava and also use my modular helmets which I prefer. I know they are not as quiet as my full face.

12000 in one day! You're good!! And people thought I was nuts for going 2500 miles in 44 hours and 58 minutes when I did my 50CC from California to Florida!!

ooops, I wish! I'd have one tired arse... Plus a need for an afterburner and other assorted gear, even the need to be put up in orbit...

Correction, that was in 6 months...

Paired up my phone, GPS, and Sena head set today. Them went for a 135 mile ride. Some was dirt logging roads, the rest was beautiful twisty country back roads through Washington timber and farmlands. Got home just in time to pick the lid up from school.

I received my Rumbux Crash Gaurd from EricV today can't wait to get it installed.

Oh yeah!
After you bolt it up, you will get this strange urge to to thrash your Tenere.
It's hard to come to terms with. You are suppose to try NOT to fall.

It slowly subsides. But I don't think it ever completely goes back to normal.

I'm just saying. :)
