I serviced mine today and rode it for the first time in three months. I still love this machine.

Admiring my new switch block for the ABS switch, ONX LED Light Bar Switch and the SII Switch. Mounted where the GPS bar on the Madstad Windscreed Bracket used to be.
BTW, it will eventually be black. :) Nearly got all the bits I want to make it perrrfect for me

Added some crash bars. Took about 40 min by myself.
I like it, I petted my precious, and left for Houston today. Won't see her until Monday . . . :'(

Looks like I will be moving to the Houston area in February with my company, and will be in need of some new riding cohorts

I mounted up my Iron Butt plate, wound up flipping the license bracket upside down, since mine came with a metal bracket that my Die Hard sticker is on, and it was either block the sticker, or block the reflector in the stock position...

R U a GPS hater?! Or maybe you have younger eyes and can read the screen when it's closer to you ;) I need my GPS at windshield distance to read it with my 50+ year old eyes.

Great job on the switch bar!

Definitely not a GPS hater, the GPS has gone back on the bars, you can see the Tomtom mount in the front of this pic next to the SPOT Connect mount. I do however hate the SPOT Connect. Happily my 50+ y.o. eyes haven't let me down too much yet ::003::

I added a few items I got in the For Sale section. First I got a Corbin seat and OEM wind deflectors. The guy had modified the deflectors and they work perfect with my Touretech adjustable windshield. The Corbin fits the bike perfectly and gives me a bunch of room to move back and forth. He was in Chicago and said he would be coming through Atlanta on his way to Florida and I could meet him and save shipping. I agreed then found out he was driving straight through and would be here at 4:00 in the morning. So Friday at 4:00 I was at a gas station picking up my new gear. I also hooked up on a Altrider heat shield which I had buyers remorse as soon as I agreed to get. Not any more!! It looks great with my Altrider skid plate.

Took Mr T in for a new cam chain tensioner after him sounding like a sack of spanners when I started him up after the 24,000 mile service.

I've heard several Teneres rattle, especially when cold. Did the mechanics find it really need the new tensioner?

Took my first ride with the new Jesse luggage installed. 60 degrees in CT today, normal highs would be 44 degrees. Found some gravel roads through the forrest, over the hills, and along the creeks. Life is good!

Made a make-shift rear rack to haul our big camping gear bag when the wife goes and I have to remove the top box to haul the large bag. Made from a large 1/2" thick poly cutting board. Strong and will work for now or at least until I get Jaxon the drawings I am working on for him to fab it up, If I ever take the time to complete them. :-[

I think this thing will also fit my KLR too. :))

That's real nice but can you use it as a cutting board? ;D

Martin, It does look good and gives you a large flat area to tie down a large or multiple items. ::008::
