Thanks all! Surgery is Thursday. Doc says 6 months recovery time. We'll see how long it takes to get back on the bike.

bummer man. heal up quickly. I vote you transfer to colorado and we hang out. I have 6 more weeks in if things go well. we can watch motorcycle movies all day and hang out!

I've been following your thread, Joe, and it's been quite an inspiration to us all. I don't think my wife would be too happy if I transferred to Colorado. I sure dream about riding a lot.

Monday the doc released me from my boot cast, and I've been enjoying a new-found freedom bending my ankle and toes. So I've been out to the garage to visit my Tenere. And there is great temptation! But I know I mustn't try anything until I can balance all my weight on my left leg. Lessee... it's almost May, so maybe if I work really hard, I can start taking short rides by June.
