jesus christ it was slippery and the traction control doesn't work worth a shite on wet yellow lines ???
Were you in a turn on yellow lines when it stepped out?

I think the TC only senses forward traction slip and not to the side. It will go down just like any other bike if you loose rear traction in a turn. Almost like running out of tire. I don't think the TC can recover that quick if in a turn on wet pavement.

Here are the red stickers on a Raven! I still have the "stock" stickers on the bike but plan to remove them once replacements show up (I gotta make sure I have spares on the shelf) :D

Gat, that is great to see. My raven is just about to get those exact same decals put on it. I'm gonna leave the OEM decal since I like it with Greg's decals. Where'd you get the Yamaha light guard. Dealers don't have them due to not being DOT certified in the USA so let me know where to get some.

Thanks guys, I really like them too! ;D

I still have to put the "special" stickers on the bags. I can't wait for my buddies with GSA's to see them! >:D

I bought the headlight guard from a Yamaha dealer in Canada. I believe it was $130 CAD and I saved on shipping/ duty by picking it up (I'm back there often).

I wonder if it's possible to get the same tank decal that I see on Wasp's S10?
I mean the Black & White "ladder" with no lettering.

Gat,

That grey ring for your tankbag is now also available in black! It's a new fitting system called Quick-lock EVO (the tankbag wil snap-on much easier, but you will also need a new ring for the tankbag itself. The black EVO ring will blend in much better with the black tank!

Combo how is the ride for your significant other with the OEM bags all on? Have you thought about a padded backrest of some sort? Nice pic.

Wheel tape. Many places have them for our size wheels. Not sure who I purchased from for sure, it was a long time ago and my other confuser took a dump with the link on it.
You can do a search and find them. If I find them I will post it.

Thanks!

My wife loves it so much we are going to sell the 04 FJR. The bags are no problem for her at all. She said the rear top box is not a problem as far as a back rest, but I am going to velcro a pad for her on the front of it for her. Easy enough to do.

Hey, thanks for joining in here Ed. Stick around because there are some great folks with a lot of really helpful info.

The yellow on the U.S spec blue bike is really growing on me...
I dont think it looked as nice on the Aussie blue with the silver sides and seat.. Good work, and thanks for your support.

Greg.

Got the decal kit today so it had to go on. Not being that brave with the installation I tried this method and it worked well. Cut out all the graphics, dry fitted and positioned them and marked location with tape. Wasps measurements for locating the decals were about bang on.

Installed the fairing one first as the tanks decal location is determined by this one. Used water, a few drops of detergent in a spray bottle. Used a soft spreader to get rid of most of the water but found patience and a terry towel working the bubbles out also worked great.

End result new and improved graphics. Yamaha should have a look at these for future bikes. Also removed the yellow Tenere decal as it just didn't belong once the graphics were done. Very pleased with the much improved look. Hope this might help. Thanks again Greg The extras included I have future plans for :-\
