A place to post your pics and experience with installing your WaspWorks decal kits to your S10

Hi folks.
In response to my free World-Wide shipping promo, dozens of decal kits should have been delivered (to many corners of the globe) as you read this.
If you ordered more than a week ago and haven't got them yet, check your letter box again coz they wont be too far away.

To all the folks who have ordered, thank you very much. To all the folks who will be ordering soon, I plan on holding the free shipping in place so work out what color you want, send me an email, and lets get this show on the road... 8)

As orders have been placed and Paypal invoices are sent, the buyers will notice that i included a link to the installation video at the bottom of the invoice.
If you did not see the link, here is the install video:
Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere Decal Fitment Guide DFG.mpeg

Please take the time to check out all the helpful tips and tricks on the video and it will make a simple job even easier.

I have seen a few photos from customers that didnt follow the suggested guide dimensions and, although they still look great on the bike, they dont quite follow the designed lines.
I have included a couple of pics that will more clearly outline the guide dimensions to make for a more accurate fitup.
During the course of fitting these decals, dont be afraid to peel them back, or completely off for that matter, and start again.

Enjoy the install and prepare yourself for a completely new look to your bike.

Thanks again folks.

Greg.

Watched the video, took note of all measurements (but I will have to read again when the decals come as my memory is . . .) and checking my letter box everyday.

GOT MY decals. Gotta go read those instructions again. :p

One bad garage picture. Too hot to roll it outside, will get some on morning ride in the AM. Decals went on pretty good, I was starting to get the hang of it when I ran out of decals. LOL

P.S. Should I pull that Tenere sticker off on the top of the panel?

P.S - Can you post a pic or two showing the little "freebies" that arrived with the kit David.
They havent been made public and i'm sure the fellow inmates will get a chuckle out of them... >:D

Greg.

I went with the yellow black and blue look.

Cool stripes Greg. 8) My Yamaha dealer liked them so much he wanted your link to Wasp Works. My bike was a big hit at the dealership.

I'll have to say the Tenere looks better without the decals, much better. Don't mean to stir up anyone. If you like them, fine. They mess up the good looks somehow. Can't put my finger on why exactly as I loved the stripes on the old 1973-75 Yamaha XS, the old DTs and RDs is what these remind me of. Maybe the look is too much dated like 1975 which I have no problem with on a 1975 model. I think that is it.
I couldn't disagree more. However, like you said, it's just my opinion. I am going to order a decal kit. I just can't decide which one.

Tiger one, where did you get the wheel stripes? That looks good! The blue seems to match really well
Amazon.com They do match pretty good, but you will get a TRON when you use flash.

Think I will pull that upper sticker off. I will get some close ups of the freebies and post in a minute. I mounted all of them but the Official, might put that inside my pannier lid to show buddies when they are gathered around. LOL Those were great by the way, thanks.

had one of the techs install my stickers (cheers dazzle) and he made it look really simple and managed it in about ten mins from start to finish! took a couple pics today on top of the cherohala (5300 feet up) after running up to dahlonega from conyers then out to tellico plains for lunch (tellico cafe) from riders hill via 60 through suches, morganton and beyond on 68 (awesome roads) then over the cherry cola down to 129 where we turned right and headed back to riders hill via 129 and back roads to spice it up,
got hit with torrential rain on the way back right as we hit 129 going up blood mountain which made the twisties fun for the group of us that kept going, jesus christ it was slippery and the traction control doesn't work worth a shite on wet yellow lines ???

anyway only got one pic worth having and thanks greg (wasp) for making it possible to do this!
