UK S10 owners wanting a flash...

I've just spoken to Race Engineering who are based in Great Dunmow, Essex. They are about to become ECUnleshed agents here in the UK.
I wanted the bike flashed, but didn't fancy taking the ecu off myself and sending it away. I've lost stuff in the post before and I also use my bike a few times a week so don't want it off the road for to long.
The ECunleshed web site shows RE as being agents, but they're still waiting to get everything in place. I'm waiting for a call back when they're ready and to let me know the prices, hopefully in a week or two.
We'll see how it goes.

Make it happen!

We US folks are dying to hear someone from Europe's opinion of the ECU Unleashed flash. The US results have been underwhelming compared to the Diapsson Euro results...but I have a feeling it is just because our bikes are better from the factory.

AC,

I also own an FJR13 which was brought from a dealer here, but is an american import. Mine felt a bit snappier than the UK model demo bike I rode and I remember reading in one of the uk bike mags (BIKE I think) that they reckoned USA bikes were set up for slightly lower quality fuel. The upshot was that in the UK with better fuel they went better and always showed a couple of extra house power. Looks like this would be a turn around for once.

Another bike I had was a suzi TL1000S when they first came out, the slapper, and boy did it. I had an ohlins damper fitted and that sorted it. At the time I spoke to one of the testers at Motor Cycle News, a weekly bike mag here. They had run three, one UK bike, one Euro spec and one US import. Both the euro and UK spec bikes were slappers, the UK bike so badly it bent the damper mounting, but the US bike was so much calmer. They took the damper off and didn't have any problems. Suzi said there was no difference in the bikes, but the MCN guys swore there must have been softer fork springs.

Just have to wait for Race Engineering to call back now. Saves the wife having to bring me back a PC V in her luggage when she goes to New York at Easter, you pay in dollars what we have to pay in pounds, but would get stung for import tax and duty if posted.

Don't you recognize a Harley-D airbag suit when you see one? ::013::

Great post Steve. Keep us informed how things go.
Sweet, I too want to find out if the ECU unleashed flash is anywhere near as good as the Diapson one seems, if so I am gonna be looking for a tidy Tenere very soon, currently the restriction issue (and worries of posting the ECU abroad) is the biggest factor in me still ridng my German Tractor.

A ride-in / Ride-out flash in a days riding distance is perfect ::008::

I live around 15 miles from Great Dunmow, so I will be knocking at their door a soon as they are up and running, subject to cost.

Awaiting developments with interest!
