What size tube are you using? Is there supposed to be two photos?littledave said:yes no probs
I realy like this, thinking to do the same but is the base of the topbox strong enough to carry the weight ?catang5oh said:Mine are under the top box!
Thanks for the reply, I'm going to have a look at it this weekend. ::008::catang5oh said:Well, it made it through 3000 miles in the last 5 days! And I bought them off a used 2012 Tenere, so yes they have held up well.
Good idea and great way to use empty wasted space. I'm thinking of doing something like that myself. The motorcycle farkle stuff is way overpriced anyway..... ::008::OldRider said:I went the cheapo $6 pvc pipe route. It holds enough tools to do minor repairs and get the wheels off. I might carry a Bronson Rock if I'm heading into rough territory.
That almost looks like an AT4 anti tank rocket launcher.. ::012::OldRider said:Mega Tube. $28 @ local gun show.
Nice, what did you use for a tube? I can barely see it... ::003:: ::003::littledave said:

Nice!RCinNC said:I attached mine to the inside of my HT racks using a couple of handmade mounting brackets. It did require that I drill two holes in the racks. There aren't any clearance issues with the rear brake caliper. The tube is 4" ABS pipe (better than PVC since it doesn't shatter from a hard impact), with a custom made nosecap and locking door. The toughest part was the paint job; that took two tries.
