I'm still waiting for a few tools to go in my tool kit, but so far, I have been able to get everything into the space under the seat and the space where the stock tool kit lives. I will probably need to put a few things in the tank bag. Obviously, this does not include stuff like extra oil or a tire pump or other larger items which would go into luggage for a longer trip.

I dont think you need to worry about hauling "extra oil" with this motorcycle.

Don't need to carry oil. But do need to carry those cute little bottles of Yamalube Ring Free. One bottle per fill up.
