It doesn't take much research of threads here or on ADVrider to see that there are only positive reviews of the ECUnleashed Gen 2 re-flash. I think you will also see that many say things to the effect of "best bang for the buck mod you can make to the Super Tenere...", etc. To put it simply, it makes a great motorcycle even better. As others have said, there literally are no downsides, and the $449 spent on the re-flash certainly reaps far more reward and a much better return on investment that things like aftermarket pipes, etc. that not only cost more, but do less.
If memory serves me correctly Jaxon at RideOnADV does not actually do ECUnleashed re-flashes. He sells a lot of other great products and makes the toughest skid plate you can get for the Super Tenere, but I don't think he is an authorized ECUnleashed dealer. You can check for sure here:

The quickest way to get your ECU re-flashed is to either visit an authorized ECUnleashed Tuning Center Dealer or send it to one. That said, the shop that has arguably done by far the most ECUnleashed is, as has been mentioned here, AF-1 Racing in New Braunfels, TX. That's where I had my first one done, and the best thing about AF-1 is their exemplary customer service. Usually your ECU is re-flashed and sent back out the *SAME DAY* as received, and you can't get much better than that. I've been doing business with AF-1 for years and they are simply the best in the business when it comes to taking care of their customers.
However, to insure the fastest possible service you must first call or e-mail Ed Cook (he's the owner, and resident re-flash specialist) at AF-1 Racing and give him the information he needs to order your own personal re-flash file from ECUnleashed Tuning Technologies in California. He'll need your bike's VIN, a number or two off the ECU itself, and any mods, etc. you may have done to the bike like headers, pipes, etc. if applicable. Just drop Ed an e-mail or give him a call and he'll fill you in on what's needed, how to ship, how long it will take, etc., and tell him I told you to get in touch with him. Contact info for Ed and AF-1 is as follows:

Again, give Ed Cook a call or drop him a line, and tell him I sent you. I'm sure you will be pleased in any dealing you have with Ed and AF-1.
Hope this helps!
