I appreciate this forum and the information it supplies. I'll wade through the humanity, that's part of it. I can wade pretty good when I need to.

What's your favorite oil? I've used Motul, T6, and Yamalube. But I think the real trick is the right tires. And using mismatched spark plugs. Really make S-mode smooth when I'm not in a hurry and just contributing to thread drift and bloat.

As human computer I prefer to respond as personal repair manual and expect others to do the same. As a non-computer, but still human, I really don't care as long as people aren't posting BS.

How 'bout them Packers! Superbowl bound for sure. They are right up there with Fulham in terms of chances to win a championship.

Thread drift and bloat programming complete. Boop beep beep beep boop. Is channeling Andy Kaufman poorly, wrong? Or was he just the OG troll? If you respond to this, please stay on subject.

To the OP, yes we get thread drift in some threads, but it takes a good deal of effort for us moderators to prune and create new threads when that happens. Drift usually runs its' course and threads get back on topic. Remember that us mods actually do have other things going on in life and two of us own businesses.

...
I do think it would help to have a changing of the moderators, especially if you have moved on from even riding a Super Tenere. ...
That would be me riding a different make now.

First, notice that we sought out and added two new mods a year or so ago and both Wallkeeper and Stephan both still have their Teneres. When I did get the new bike I asked Venture (site owner) and them if they'd like me to back out and they said no.

Having been here from nearly the start, I've met a lot of you through this forum and made friends, hosted a number of you as couch surfers seeing the DC area, and love the community we've built. I do remember one or two things technically from riding two Teneres through the majority of the US over roughly 11 years so still try to help new members. I've been participating a bit less due to business demands.

...
Thank God the vaccination thread got nuked. It was the most divisive thread I have ever seen. Worse than an oil thread.
True that!

Hard to follow up that one, but I do see it is a Rugby team.

There's no doubt over the last 12+ years that I've been active on yst, I've been responsible probably hundreds of thread deviations. I guess that makes me a major deviant around here. I'm not going to mention this revelation to DM.

If I said I regret this hijacking behavior, it would be insincere. I would not be shocked to learn I'm on more than one or two ignore lists. Please take this opportunity to add me to any ignore lists as needed. I suspect my future activity will not improve.

Don't let all this distract you from the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.

American Football? This Thread drift really is getting out of hand. Wally, Stephan, CW...someone do something!
Don't let that distract you from the fact that In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.
