Because of the reasons that gv550 provided, is why I refer to it as a Tenere. Yes. I know, there was, and soon to be again, just a Tenere. I'm just lazy.
I type ten and Ténéré shows in the shortcuts. Easier than shifting to numbers for S10!

Damn, that really is a smart phone. Google's first suggestion is Tennessee. If I keep going, I end up with the Tenere Tree. It was actually an interesting article. And, since I have a flip phone....

So Tenere can be any one of various sized Yamaha bikes, ST is a Honda, S10 is a truck...... may I propose a nickname that won't be confused with anything else? How about XT12.

I actually researched how to make the accent marks for Ténéré. Wish spellcheck would grab that spelling.

HOME!!! 12 hour round trip, twisted the hell out of my knee. Thankfully the seller was super cool and tied it down in the trailer for me. Along with backing me out of a tight drive way cause I am a trailer NOOB!

Only took a quick trip WOOOOOZZZER 5 miles and I'm in love. Ugh Thursday hurry up so I can get it registered and drive it. How the hell does anyone say this bike is boring? This sucker hauls the mail.

I have 34 working days left. How long have you been dead, errr retired?
I retired January '17, but went back (sort of) April '18. My current coworkers are some of my ex-coworkers; the good ones who also retired. No drama/BS, or stress. It's almost like not working, but it does cut into my riding time.

Theoretically I put 100 miles on the bike today without getting it registered, man that DMV kept moving freeway exits somehow.....
At least I got there in time for the VIN inspection done. Get the rest done tomorrow!

Really like the bike. Got the clutch set where I like it. Need to move the turn signal bundle a bit. Little learning curve on slower speed lean angle. Also absolutely miss my gear indicator, need to get that on the way.

Oh and previous owner installed a Denali Sound Bomb. I don't know who it scared more. Me or the guy I honked at when he cut me off at Costco!!!

Alright, need to see some pics now, and where did you wind up getting it?

Down in Huntington Beach. Got a real good deal. $5,000 for the bike with factory hard cases, madstad, alt riders skid and crash guards, etc etc. Still haven't taken any good pictures of it yet. First page of this post is one of the sellers photos.

Only thing I need to do it figure out the windshield a bit. Its great but its right in my eye line. so I keep hunching over to get under it. And the headlights are almost pointing at the moon.

Nice find! I need to take a look, I might have a windshield still floating around from when I owned my 2012...

Actually got the factory shield with it, and swapped that over yesterday. Solved my issue. Got the air bubble to hit just at the top of my helmet and it got the top of the shield out of the center of my eye line so no more playing up down up down as I try to look over or through the shield.

Now figuring out how the added in electronics were wired (grips, usb and a SAE connector) want to make sure they are all fused and see what is constant on and key on so I don't end up with a dead battery. Ahhh the joys of new bike ownership!

Congrats on a real nice looking ‘13 pearl white, de-stickered S10.
I have the same S10 as yours more or less. I de-stickered my scoot but left the Super Tenere mountain range decal on the upper cowlings.
I wish they would have left them on, I like the stickers! But not $50 worth of like to replace them.
