I filled the Might T with 27 litres so with the 4 come 5 litres already in that gives me a conservative total of 31 Litres (Fuel pump has gobbled up 2 litres of fuel space).

Anyway doing the math at 55 mpg which is what I'm getting regularly I now have a tank range of 374 miles ::018::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 55 mpg = 374 Miles BEST ::013::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 50 mpg = 340 Miles AVERAGE ::012::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 45 mpg = 306 Miles WORST ::008::

Either way I'm over the glorious 300 miles per tank mark ::015::
Geez, thats like riding from my place to Tokyo non-stop. I don't know how you Iron Butters do it.

Iron Butter... ???

Oh, damn! I see the name for a new product, or even a whole range of 'em! :D

- Butter fortified with iron...
- Butter that keeps you in the saddle longer...
- A new treatment for the inside of your long-distance riding shorts...
- A magic spray for your bike's seat that allows you to ride an extra 100, 200, 500, or more miles...

The possibilities are *ENDLESS*!!! ;D

:D OK, how about Ironbuttista borrowed from the concept of KLRista sans the frugal aspect.

Its been a while and you have run many tanks of fuel though your new tank... What kind of distances are you now getting till empty ?

I'm getting quite a few different distances.

Bike no panniers taking it steady motorway 330 mile par tank
Bike with panniers loaded 310 miles to tank

Best run to date with top box as I never take this off is 386 miles half motorway half a&b roads and that was to running out of fuel.

Fill up from empty is 32.6 litres.

Hope this helps Jaxon
