I think it's related to the TC and not fueling. The stumble is gone on my bike with the TC off and much less pronounced in TC2.

Lag?? :-\ What lag  Oh, that's right, I have a foggy memory of something like that, but it must have been almost erased when I took a ride with the Diapason-flashed ECU today 8)

sweet. here we go. Another thread about the ECU flash.

Let me see if i can predict what is going to happen:

"My Diapason reflashed ecu with PCMV, AT, Arrow headers, akro titanium, and fake carbon fiber sticker covered bike has no "lag". Well, at least it doesn't seem too. I mean, there is 2 feet of snow on the ground and I haven't actually ridden it, but it sounds mean and looks cool."

"I can't wait to hear a few more reports from owners that have had the flash done. Truthfully, right now i'm busy buying tampons so I can't afford the flash anyway."

"I heard the ECU unleashed flash was the same as the Diaposon but in reality it depends if your ECU has a hole it. I mean, I think I read that somewhere"

"Does anybody know where I can get a cheap top box? When it warms up i'm going to get a Diapason flash and rip it up around here but for now my bike sits, well, at the dealership, cause i don't actually own one."

"Just wait. Next week my bike is going on the dyno and I'm posting the graphs of every gear including seventh gear. Yep, you read it right. My local tuner has a 7th gear all figured out."

:D :D I actually DID ride mine yesterday. Couldn't get past second gear on the small area of snow free pavement, but definitely noted the 'lag' is gone. Bikes is otherwise stock, but I filed the cooling fins from the differential housing, wich saved a couple of ounces, so that may have masked the results. ::008::

It is a tumor, errr, cancer. Hope we can find a cure soon! Probably will come when the snow melts and those bozos get to actually ride! LOL

No doubt, a few here seem to have the need to fart in every thread after every entry. I thing they should spend more time on the Tenere and less time on the keyboard. As always... YMMV.

You could have a point there...successfully in-breeding the stink right out of one's shite. O0 I never thought of that angle before. This might be causing Hatfield vs McCoy hostility toward differing views. Worth further study for sure ::008::

You're allowed to peek, and remember it's up to your own interpretation. No odiferous scents were intentionally imported, but were labeled as such.

Damn, some of you winners sure do make a guy read some BS when looking for answers...This thread will be jacked up and useless like some others. A shame really because I would like to read some more opinions on this topic.

TC related for my bike.

The feeling that I get is similar to other late model fuel injected bikes that I have had. They were caused from a lean stumble due to the OEM's mapping to meet emission standards. The Suzukis were easy to fix with a simple fuel enrichment adjustment from my local dealer for $75. My Kawasaki Concours 1400 I fixed with a timing retard eliminator for $139. My Tenere has a slight stumble off idle and only present in 1st gear, the engine revs are never that low in any other gear.
