I looks like you guys are going to have to party without me in CO. I was riding in the mountains south west of Provo UT and tipped my bike over. It landed on my leg and I ended up with a broken ankle. Now I am working on a way to get my self and bike back to Oregon.

Yup, it works like that. Mine broke my leg in 3 places in 2012.

Im somewhere near Four Corners on the Arizona side. I got a late start but I really don't want to stop yet. Maybe Cortez,CO?

I'm in Carlsbad because my bro is going tourist on me. Yea, we actually did the whole cavern thing. Walked it!

Oh well. He's having a ball and I'm gonna get prime rib out of him tonight for slowing me down.

And, he gets no slack tomorrow. Packing the mule before sunup. And ain't wasting one second of the cooler morning temps. (brutal hot here now)

Day 5 and we reached Monument Valley today. Cortez tomorrow. The bike has been faultless and all is going according to plan. See you all soon.

103* at 5pm is brutal hot. The high in Ouray is mid to low 70's. 560 miles and you are there.

I was just playing with Basecamp to load the routes onto the Montana. I did create a new "sport" ride route, since South Fork is under evacuation orders

Marpquest works just like Google but will load turn by turn into the Montana directly.

Made it to ouray via imogene pass from telluride. Had a guy a take a pic cause he was amazed. He just don't know
Got a cabin and am ready to do more riding

You must have been only one of the handful I passed all day! I had the coals poured on the jeep-jeep west of Denver and she struggled.

You're already at the koa I thought? Was going to look for you after dinner to see about the banner and where we should hang it.

I'm right behind the restaurant if we can't find you on our walk...

Great day from Amarillo to Manitou Springs. It really didn't get hot until Raton. We made it here so fast we went up Pikes Peak. Coaster and I both almost dropped out from the elevation. Great afternoon ride though. It's going to be a quick day through the mountains to Ouray.
