Thanks, looking forward to more feedback on that camera.
In addition to the first day attempts video I linked above, I made this one for the remote.

Any way to mount it to the top of your helmet?
There are endless ways to mount it.

That's the thing, you have to do a lot of experimenting to figure out the best use.

There's the novelty approach I tried in the first video. This past weekend I shot a couple hours of video and had some realization during the process.

1. The X3 is is the equivalent of having a near unlimited number of cameras simultaneously pointed in every direction from its mounting point. With some mildly creative editing you can come up with some really cool shots.

2. The ability to shift the aim and zoom on the fly makes the sense of speed and motion dramatically more compelling than a standard fixed position camera. Double and triple the camera angles for the same segment and it a whole new game.

I've extracted two angles, forward and rider for this last ride. Looking forward to the final product. I think it's going to be cool. Unfortunately I won't have time to find out a couple of weeks. You can see a tiny snippet in the remote video. In the switchbacks you cane see how I was able to pivot the aim point to show a more full view of the environment.

I still have a ton to learn, but overall the X3 is a massive leap forward. I'll get better as I do more.

'Cuz, it looked like if the camera was on top of the helmet, nothing would block the lens, and give a 360° video like you see in an OMNI theater.

I hope he rides with somebody every time. 'Cuz, when he drops it, he will not be able to get it back on two wheels. And hopefully, when he drops it, it doesn't fall on him.

The picture below is from an article about underrated ADV bikes. I initially thought the one in the foreground was a T-7 but found it to be an XT660. But what I was surprised about was the T-12 boxes on it.

Watching him when I was a kid dirt biking. Caused me to break lots of frames and bent swing arms. My dad gave me a big dirt pile for Christmas. We tore up everything on 2wheels ramping
