Don’t remember his name but assuming it’s the same, he started on the FJRForum long ago and a nice guy. Was big into IronButt.

Don't recall his name, but he has had several S10's and has (still is?) been on this site. If I recall right, and it is him, he is a L.A. County firefighter that commutes from St. George to L.A.

There's a local fireman where I live, that buy/sells Jeeps. I think that guy does the same with Teneres. Most FDs only work 1 on, two days off.

I backed a tractor out of my trailer. When the front tractor tire were rolling out the back of it. It picked my back truck tires up and gave it a little shove. Skidded 100 yards in park to the abyss. Still idling. Totaled 12K miles on it. I drove it home in a jerky 1st gear only. If I'd been in my F250 it wouldn't of happenedIMG_4801.JPG

Hard to believe it was 19 years ago. I was born less than that from WWII. So, to kids nowadays, it's ancient history.

I was at LAX to pick up a colleague of mine who was flying in from Phoenix. We were supposed to meet with a client at Staples Center to discuss an upcoming event. Bob was in the air when the grounding order came through, and he was fortunate enough that his plane was able to land at LAX. I was at the pickup area when police shut everything down so I went to one of the local hotels where we had an office, and I knew the basement was a bomb shelter.

On the 10th anniversary, I was in NJ, had just wrapped up another show, and was flying home out of Newark. I forgot what day of the week it was, but it was eerie driving down 95 to the airport with no traffic whatsoever. Of course, the mood in the airport was extremely somber that day, and it was one of the least crowded flights I had been on at that time.

That really sucks. I have a 3/4 ton truck and i still have to put blocks under the back of the trailer to get my tractor on and off it. My buddy had put two trailer jacks at the back of his trailer that pivot horizontal when he is on the road. It is a very slick system and quick. No need to keep up with blocks and such.

As a property owner oh how I loathe hunting season. Brings out the worst in people. Chris’s people in Walmart have nothing on these guys. They must be related.
