How is the stock seat like is it ok, great, doable, or do i have a aftermarket seat in my future?
Can we have a link please?HoebSTer said:Of course there is also the lowering links that WASP works is selling!!
Of course you could fit a spacer but it will change the handling characteristics. With a sports bike if you jack it up at the back it'll turn in quicker. You don't really want that on the ST. Just position the seat on the higher of the two settings. You'll be fine with that.HoebSTer said:it wasn't me asking for short links. i am 6'2" 325lbs can i raise the compressed suspension?

Nice one, cheers HoebSterHoebSTer said:
That's where I'm at: 5'9", 30" inseam and ride a DL 1000 (for now!). I slid the forks up 1" in the clamps to make it a little quicker steering in the tight twisties. Did wonders for the Strom. Will have to wait and see how this bad boy handles. Unfortunately, the wait is going to be a long one!SpeedStar said:I am 5'-9" with a 30 inseam. I think I will be fine with it in the lowered seat position. My Strom is fine and the DL-1000 and GS12 was fine for me too and they have the same posted seat height as the S10.
I would also prefer not to change anything in the suspension. I may raise the forks in the triple-clamps a half inch or so to quicken steering and gain a little lower height but that will probably be it.
