I'm with ya BigBob. Polishing is a tall task.

Maybe if it really really comes out special, I'll be a polisher for a spell. But I know me. I'll ride it so often and in foul weather, and down my dirt drive.........
It'll seem so fruitless. Lol

They need detail shops for bikes like they have for cars\trucks. I have my cages done a couple of times a year. Well worth the $'s, in my book.
But go 6 months on the Tenere, and it's too late to get that "New Car" look. The spokes, by themselves, will scoff at my lack of attention in mere days!

Hey creggur, your request is my pleasure. Here's the helmet I ordered on the internet that ended up sparking my insanity.
Basically chasing an Italian flavored RTW Tenere.

Well if I was "intrigued" before, now I'm downright antsy to see this thing... Color me excited!

Nice lid (I have one myself...), compared to an Arai they seem half the weight, I've had one of those too and in my humble opinion the AX8 is a better helmet. nice graphics too ::008::

P.S. I have a boring white one to match my boring white bike.

I buy lids like I buy cowboy boots. I buy after the previous has worn out. (or leaks, if we're talking boots)
Wear it everyday, even with wet shower hair. Once it's deemed used up, I grab another.

This one was a closeout at Revzilla. I have never bought a fancy graphics helmet before, but the price begged me.

Still wasn't that excited until I took it out of the box. It was flashier in person. I went kinda ADV-Squiddish for a few days.

The rest is almost history. Again, we'll see. Jaxon was turned loose. I'm pretty sure he had some fun dreaming up crazy stuff.

I've seen pics of some of Jaxon's custom bikes - interested to see what he came up with being set free on your Tenere...

Had the chrome whore washed by some bikini girls. Was a joy to watch. Rode home after dark with no problem. The next day in bright sun the week old windshield was scratched. Oh well what's a hundred dollar plus shield compared to a clean bike?
