I’ve been talking to a company called Swift Kicker. Allegedly they have a prototype for the Super Ténéré but they’d like to see serious interest from at least 10 purchasers to put it into production. If enough of us inquire perhaps they’ll start making them?

I'm not gonna lie, it's super cool... but I don't know if it's $220 cool.
I guess if you have to choose between a kick stand and a center stand then $220 is a deal AND you save weight by not having the center stand. But when the ground or grade is questionable I use my center stand and distribute the load across two legs instead of one. Never a worry about it falling over.
Side note: I've had my side stand sink into asphalt in the hot summer heat and found my bike almost ready to tip over because of it... never had that issue on my center stand. As far as I know, all S10s came with a center stand so why not use it in this instance?
BTW, I know it's different if you are on the trail and need to use your side stand, but that wasn't the impression I got from the OP's post. If this is about having options for all conditions then, again, it might be worth it.
