I have been looking at the TBR Juice Box Pro for the Super Tenere. Is there anyone with experience using this device. Any advice or recommendations? I have played with all the low cost alternatives such as CJM, Exhaust CO settings, air mixture screws, and O2 sensor eliminators and am not completely happy. I have no exhaust mods on the bike. And yes, I know the ultimate solution is an ECU reflash followed by fine tuning with a PC5 and a dyno session or autotune.l
TIA for all your comments and advice.

For whatever reason this just isn't popular here. If you want a piggyback controller I would lean towards the power commander just do you have the support from this forum if you run into trouble or need help sorting it out.

Actually, the ultimate solution is not necessarily the ECU flash with a Power Commander. For most of us, this new Gen II flash does it all. That is all I have done to my engine, and I am really happy. No need for the PC, etc.

I agree. It seems that if you have the Gen 2 flash you will be very happy unless you have Arrow headers. In that case, you may need the Power commander to eliminate some surging. I have stock headers with Akra can and Gen 2 flash and couldn't be happier. It really wakes up the engine in S mode.

The juice box is a very good tool for fuel management and has more flexibility in some areas than the PC5. It uses the same map format and you can download PC maps without any issue or have a custom dynotuned map made for your bike or build your own using your computer hookup. It allows you to load ten maps into the unit to be switched on fly without having to hook up to your computer as well. It also allows you to add/subtract up to 10% fuel in the low, mid and upper rpm bands with an easy adjustment. The downside is no hook up available for the autotune system which can build your own map based on your bike etc. Trade offs but it works just fine for what it is.

I appreciate all the comments. Was hoping someone might have first hand experience with the Juice Box. I will probably go back to my initial instincts and go with a Gen2 reflash. I believe there is a Canadian ECUnleashed dealer on the west coast. I am trying to eliminate some surging in T and S modes at 2400-3200 RPM. It is mostly gone when I combine the CJM with the O2 sensor eliminators but my fuel mileage seems to be suffering. And I am not pleased with the abrupt on/off throttle response.

John,

You have that surging with a completely stock exhaust AND intake (no aftermarket filter)?

Yes... stock exhaust and OEM air filter.. I can feel the surging or "hunting" during steady throttle conditions.

Hmm, that's crazy.

Premium fuel?

Are you SURE your throttle bodies are synched?

yes... premium fuel... and throttle bodies have been synched multiple times with the Harmonizer...

Maybe I should check my vacuum caps..

But.. the surging virtually disappears with CJM and O2 eliminators.

I'm not a fan of the CJM for reasons I have seen inside the ECU.

The 02 eliminators are doing what? Where did you find them?
