I got a Kriega 10L tail bag which is awesome and fits my tool roll, pump, and a case with plugs, fuses, etc. It has a little room to spare as well.
Anyway, the challenge I'm having is strapping it down to the bike so that it is done neatly and so that the whole thing can easily be removed. So far I tried removing the pillion seat and the bag now sits there, but the straps are not in the most ideal places (or so I think).
Has anyone had a similar challenge?
So far, I believe that if I remove the plastic plate under the pillion seat, I'll be able to get to the sub frame and strap it there. However, If I want to remove the whole thing, I don't want to be removing and putting on that plate.
Here's a few pics of what I have so far; as you can see, it is far from ideal.
Also, WTF is up with the gap left between the rider seat and the pillion seat when the latter is removed? Seems like a 1 inch space where all sorts of stuff can enter the compartment under the rider seat...
