Are you planning to ride the BDR before or after Romney? I might be interested.Gunner said:I'm going to try to make it this year. It looks like the new Mid Atlantic BDR goes right by Romney. The route will be published next month.

Defekticon said:I'll be there this year. Wife told me last year she wasn't going to come this year. Not because she didn't enjoy the event and company, riding in the mud with her on the back and 90/10 tires scared the **** out of her. I guess she figures I'll get out more on the dirt oriented group rides if she's not on the back. We've done a bunch of rides two up, but she's not thrilled about the offroad stuff. After buying the KTM last year, and our move to FL in June, I think I'm going to look for a street oriented tourer. Once we get settled in I think we're going to seriously look at a Gold Wing, Venture, Electra Glide (maybe), etc. Won't be a replacement for the S10, but something we can ride the gulf coast on together. It maybe the last year for me at the event unfortunately since we're moving pretty far away and the kids will be out of school earlier in the summer, which means we'll likely be heading west in the RV around this time of the year.
As always, looking forward to it!

No I'll be heading in from Eastern MD this year, we move to FL in June. Might consider it in 2019. I have a toyhauler so it wouldn't be a problem to trailer up, but then.... it is an Adventure touring bike, and I have made the long ride to FL round trip before. Lots of good North/South routes in between if you take the long route through Alabama, GA, Western NC, TN etc.steve68steve said:Are you trailering up from FL?
I have for the past two years following my move from PA to FL, but it's a LONG drive for a weekend. Any interest in sharing a trailer?
Thanks for the reply.Defekticon said:No I'll be heading in from Eastern MD this year, we move to FL in June. Might consider it in 2019. Uncle Bob, John and the local crew are great people. Maybe I can still get a shirt.....Watch your beer, if Paul aint stealing mine he will be after someone else's.
If you are on the fence about going, you need to. Small town with good people, good food and for a good cause. Hope those of you can make the Oct ride in E TN......(hijack over) so we can spent some time together.
Bummer...sorry to hear it Patrrick. It was fun riding with you last year. Hope to catch up later this year.patrickg450 said:Bad news: I will not be able to make it this year.
