Excellent…love the vintage stuff. I try and get to the vintage days at Mid-Ohio and Barber every year to see bikes like those in person, plus the vintage racing is pretty cool too!

I remember when I was a kid, I mailed away for a Yamaha brochure. My favorite at the time was the 305 cc Big Bear Scrambler. That was 1965 or 66! I used to fall asleep with that brochure, dreaming about motorcycles (and girls), but mostly motorcycles. :D

Should have stayed with motorcycles! Such is life.

Been through a few "Yammer Hammers", since then, for sure. Loved them all.

Some years ago, I found and restored a little 74 TY80 trials bike for my son’s very first motorcycle. What a cool little bike that was. Around the same time, I found and restored a 72 DT2MX for myself. :)

Nice walk through yesteryear. I've seen a lot of those bikes in person, and owned quite a few as well.

Thanks for the post.

Yeah, and $1 a carton for smokes when I was in the Navy. Just glad that I quit way back in '77.......... not sure how people can afford it today.

Here’s one you don’t see too often. I dug up this photo of my old 1972 DT2MX250 on its first outing after restoration.

The next in line was a 73 CR250M Elsinore which I still have…it ran circles around the DT. :)
