Augdaug said:Hey gang! I've mostly been a pavement tourer for most of my riding experience but I've been eyeing the Shafer Trail on my Moab, UT trip later this year. Any opinions and/or tips for taking my S10 on this particular trail? I've read it is manageable even for those like myself. I'll have a set of fresh Shinko 705's for the journey. Thanks!
The Shinko 705 wouldn't be my choice for anything deep, sand especially. Their 804/805 would be my choice. I ran two sets this last two times, worked good. The rear pattern is very paddle like. They last a decent length of time too. The right price for a single use trail tire.
