Bridges of Madison County
That was the plan for today, I have never seen the movie, but now I have seen all the bridges.
I ended up with 360 miles today and about 75 of that was gravel.
I seen seven covered bridges and four through truss, I like the old through truss better than the redone tourist trap covered bridges.
One of the through truss was a very rare Warren design but it was way out in a field so I will have to wait till dry ground to get a picture.
Up first was a covered bridge in Knoxville Not one of the Madison county movie bridges.
This was a great find but I almost got stuck in the mud getting this picture, way down a dirt road.
This was the only one open to ride through.
Had to get a picture here. John Wayne's birth place.
I needed some fuel SOOOOOO NOOOOO not really
This is the Hastie Station, 1933 and sold fuel for 5 gal, for 97 cents.
