I wouldn't say spring is here yet, but I had the day off so it's time for a ride around Iowa. My ultimate destination for today was Baxter's Cycle in Marne, Iowa. They are a Triumph and Royal Enfield dealer, and I heard they had a large show room of vintage bikes. It was 28 degrees when I hit the road this morning, and I ended up riding 410 miles.
There was a lot of generator windmills in western Iowa, and they are there for a reason. It is windy over there.
I came across this and thought it was worth a picture or two. This is the site of the first train robbery in the west.
I have seen this rock in a picture on the internet before but I had no idea where it was at, I just happened to come across it.
If you like vintage motorcycles, and these are all for sale. They even give you a 3 page listing of all the bikes and prices. Then Baxter's Cycle is a good place to check out.
If you can read this tag it says NEW 1977 The price is $18,995.
