Yes, he quoted me $460 for a single, which was the airport to airport price. This is a nicely discounted price too. They are still new to the international shipping, but his shipping agent seems to be giving him good info. You would want to contact Deon and ask for a quote to the nearest international airport to you. Then, like me, try and talk to a shipping agent on your end to firm up the import costs.
Thanks

Some more details on the modification Deon is making to the crash bar. There have been some complaints of people dragging the right side of the crash bar in corners so they are narrowing the unit at the bottom slightly. This dragging only happened at the same time the peg was touching down and is apparently only on the right side. While a relatively minor change from our perspective, it requires jig changes and other production alterations. Nice that they are taking input from riders to improve the product.

Hey Eric V, Would it be possible to get a third set of these bars sent? I wanna get in one these as well.
Yes. We are waiting for the new versions to be finished that include a small modification so they don't drag in corners until after the peg hits. Looks like it will run about $500 after customs/duties/fees.

PM me with your email addy and I'll keep you in the loop on the order.

Edit: I'll be out of the country for 3 weeks after Xmas and won't be able to do anything with this until after the 18th. Kind of looking like the order won't go in until then.

Eric, any idea the weight of the unit and can the side covers be removed with the bars in place?

From Salty's earlier post:
* weight of a unit.........................................11.6kg in airothene wrapping
* all mounting hardware included: ...............Yes
* side panel access and removal clearance : Yes access on both sides, panel removal on right side only (Tool & battery)
Essentially 26 lbs for us non-metric folks. And yes, the right side cover can be removed with the bars in place. Not positive how much would need to be removed to access or remove the left side cover.

Hey Eric,

I'm highly interested in the Rollbend setup as well, and how to get in on your order. I'm unclear if you're planning to order several units for yourself/others, with different individual shipping destinations?

I'm also curious how many components comprise the rollbar/skidplate combination (hard to tell from the photos where/how they attach to the bike and to each other, and installation instructions haven't been provided).

I'm PMing you my e-address so we can communicate directly off-line.

Please keep us apprised of any further details as you know them.

This my posting reply, so I'm hoping I've quote-replied appropriately.

Thanks,
- Mike

Ok, some updating. The new design bars are ready now. I've been out of the country for the last three weeks, so sorry for the delay on news. I am going to place an order shortly and now have a customs broker in place for a Las Vegas delivery. It's looking like delivery and shipping to individuals will round out at $500 per crash bar set if the duty, fees and customs broker costs are split among everyone evenly. I won't know for sure on individual shipping until I can re-package a set, as needed and see what's the best way to ship them.

Interested parties so far are below. If I missed you, post up. I can order 5 sets and not get dinged too bad on duty. Over that the value exceeds the point where duties go up. I'll be ordering 5 sets for this first order and if we are as pleased with the bars as I hope, and it doesn't prove to be a nightmare, I'll order more as a commercial vender. Just about set up with my business process, which will hopefully keep things in the same price range or better.

I am waiting for an invoice from Deon at Rollbend, then will PM/email everyone on how much to send me and how. PayPal will be the preferred method, which allows CC use if need be.

Heard from Deon at Rollbend today. They are in the process of moving to a new facility, so it will be a few days before I can get the order in with them.
