Has anyone found the magic solution for getting the running light wedge bulbs to seat and stay seated?

One of my filament bulbs burned out and I probably should have just left them out but any additional light is a good thing.

I replaced with 3watt LED bulbs that throw out some fantastic light and picked a near pure white "bluish" that really gets attention. But they don't seem to stay seated. every start up one is out. Ride for awhile and it goes back on. Then the other one is out.

Has anyone tried to bend the wired seating in the socket to tighten things up. Or is dialectric grease the answer? Tried bending out the wires on the bulb itself with limited success. Eventually the bulb s must work loose.

BTW I did see the earlier thread on replacing the filimant bulbs with LEDs which does mention fitment issues but nothing is resolved. In my case the LED bulbs fit well being the exact same size and shape as the filament bulbs.

Any ideas are appreciated and will be tried.

I've installed many sets. I've not had any issues. Are your bulbs falling out?

Same problem here. It is the crappy China LEDs.

I've decided I just don't care any more. I can't see the lights when I am on the bike so I gave up.

Not falling out. Intermittent lighting.

I did order some chinese projectors and still waiting for those but the current set is not chinese and were reasonable expensive. I just think they are not made for an on/off road motorcycle and shake loose.

I've been running the DDM for 2+ years. Installed them and have never touched them again...

Jaxon - did you use the projector or the standard LED. Asking because the projector is slightly longer and wondering if it interferes with headlight cover.
