Fall is coming in the "Land of the Midnight Sun" and now realize the need for some dusk/night vision. Anyone swap out oem headlight bulbs with any other bulbs that improve lighting. May look at mounting some driving lights but would prefer to find a more powerful bulb.

Thanks in advance.

I picked up two PIAA H7 bulbs from Amazon and I noticed a big difference over stock OEM bulbs.

Same question for a brighter/whiter headlight bulb replacement for a 2014-2015 Tenere H7 bulb? -JEP-

Thanks. I saw that article. I'm not to crazy about hooking up fans or leaving the backs off of the lights.
I'm just hoping to find a simple brighter/whiter light to replace the existing bulb.
I used Sylvania Silver Stars (H4) on my Explorer and they did the trick.
I see they are available in a single filament bulb but not certain that will work. -JEP-

Thanks guys, I'll take a look at these. Are they both single filament bulbs? -JEP-

I'm impressed with them.

Yes, H7 is a single filament bulb. The H7 is what fits our bike. Even all the other types of bulb have to have an H7 base to fit our bike. The Sylvanias didn't survive a year, seems they have a fear of vibration.

FYI: Darryl at Cyclops borrowed one of my light covers to send to his CAD guy so a larger cover can be designed to fit over the fans. He tried once already but didn't like the first design. I'll let y'all know what comes of it.

twinrider, I looked them up but don't see the standard H4 base? I see wires coming out of the base, what gives?

I ran the silverstars at the tune of $40 and they lasted 3 months, sheeesh. I installed the DDM tuning hid kit this winter for the tune of, get this...$40. Sometimes I can be a real knucklehead... :-[ Loving the DDM tuning kit, easy install and very nice improvement.

I picked up a set of Silver Star Ultra's....they look great!
If they crap out like I see many are saying, then I'll try the Osrams. -JEP-
