I bought the 5,000 at TRS's recommendation. Produces a nice white beam, no yellow or blue tints.

Trivia fact of the day. . .

Bulbs actually age with use, developing micropores in the glass and microscopic notches on the filaments, making the filaments increasingly likely to break. In an SEM, the tungsten filaments look like the "zebra stripes" visible here and over time they get deeper into the tungsten:

Since your bulbs were installed at the same time, when one fails, replace them both or you will begin a game of constantly replacing one and then the other. Same with turn signals or other left/right sets.

Here is my exact order, looks like the bulb choice has changed since then so you might want to ping TRS directly for a recommendation.

Ballasts Morimoto 3Five (35w)
Bulb Spec XB35

Northwest Cajun.

Please do let us know how the Cyclops mod works.

I am also not a big fan opening more holes and running wires than necessary. But I really like the LED's.

I don't believe the H4 and the H7 are interchangeable.
