Rear Rack: Conversion?

Nope, you are not alone. That vid (shot by Fred Z from this forum) was using an early demo model. All the US Spec bikes had a little tweaking with the grab rails/spacers. Most people that I heard of who wanted to put the stock rack in the low position had to take a Dremel tool and grind away a small bit of the rack on both the left and the right to make the rack drop between the rails. I did mine, no biggie. As it turns out, I ended up yanking the grab rails off anyways to get my Jesse bags in tighter, then went with the Altrider rear rack.....

But yeah, it has been documented, so your bike is normal! :-\

That's just screwy. I wonder WTF possessed them to do that. :-\

I used washers to space the grab bars. Works well.
