Yep, exactly that! Don’t give a rat’s @ss about fuel costs. But it indicates very well any upcoming problem.I keep track of it mainly as an indicator of a possible mechanical issue.

Which fuel-injection cleaner are you a fan of?Have you thought about running a couple cycles of fuel injection cleaner? I've had success scavaging a few mpg in cars and trucks doing that.

I'm not too picky. I've used Seafoam at 3oz-4oz per gallon and it's given acceptable results. I prefer actual fuel injection cleaner though, but hey, in a pinch Seafoam has worked. It just takes a little longer (aka a full tank or two).Which fuel-injection cleaner are you a fan of?
I try to use stp now hopefully it get better?Which fuel-injection cleaner are you a fan of?
I keep up with mileage now too. 04 4x4 F250 gets 12mpg. 17 4x4 F150 gets 18 average. what did your 13' get just easing aroud flat land backroads? When I ease around on my flashed pcv gen 1. I can get get 50mpg doing 50mph with a soft throttle. With a kinda heavy hand at a real 70mph mine wil get down to 38. I've run out and coasted in a station at 180 miles before. 30mpg. It held 6 gal. I was runnin 80 in the long steep rolling hils with a killer headwind in the driving rain.Keeping track of mpg has always been a habit with anything I drive
my 2018 always gets considerably better mpg than my previous 2013 did
Question, why are you using 94?Hi there how u guys get better fuel.
I change spark plug n air filter. From 32mpg to 35mpg improved. All in T mode.
I'm. Using ethanol free 94 gas in Canada
Pls advise
Thank you
B.T.D.T. I pay almost no attention to the fuel gauge or range indicator. I use 40mpg as a worse case scenario. That gives me an expectation of a worse case range of 240mi (+/-). I fill up at 200mi (+/-). And I put in 5gal (+/-). I recommend just getting a good handle on your mileage average and going from there. I don't see any good coming from pushing the range limits on a trip.My range indicator has gone down to single digits on a few occasions, with the fuel gauge flashing, . . . .
Don't mind the range indicator. It's useless. My range indicator has gone down to single digits on a few occasions, with the fuel gauge flashing, but at most I have only been able to add 4.6 US gallons on the 6-gallon tank. So does the range indicate miles to a supposed 'reserve' of some sort? I typically reset a trip odometer at each fill-up and try to gas up around 200 miles or so, but on a recent trip when I was cruising at higher speeds and bucking stiff headwinds my MPGs really dropped and I almost ran out of gas - per the range indicator. Just trying to get a better feel for the miles I can safely cover when the tank gets low.
