I may have figured out a way to ship for cheaper. I'll find out tomorrow. If that works out, I will lower prices and refund some cash to those that have ordered, but delivery times from UT to where ever you are will be longer. I suspect most will be ok with that, but I'll individually query those that have ordered.

We have 4 orders and the next order will be placed with Rumbux this week. If you're on the fence, contact me and let me know what you want.

Brake lines will get made, but the quantity will be limited, due to demand at this time. I will have some two line sets made up. However, I am not making longer lines for people moving the bars up with risers, that's something to go to Ride On ADV for.

Sadly, the hopefully cheaper shipping method only pans out for lower bars with skid plate, not full sets. On the up side, unlike any other crash bars, the upper bars on the Rumbux are one piece, so stronger and more rigid than anything else out there.

The other downside to the cheaper shipping method on the lower bars is that it's USPS Parcel Post, and can take up to two weeks. Sucks, but it's much, much cheaper if the customer is willing to wait the extra time. I will discount the price on lower bars if the customer requests slow boat shipping. :D No difference to me. I still have to re-pack the product and haul it down to town for shipment.

I can knock off $25 for USPS Parcel Post shipping of the lower crash bars/skid plates only. However, shipping takes two weeks instead of less than a week via UPS Ground. For those that already placed an order for just the lower bars w/skid plate, if you're good with the longer delivery time, let me know and I will credit your card back the $25.

If anyone is on the fence, I am placing the order with Rumbux on Friday, so call me soon or you will have to wait for the next order of 5 to develop.

sorry, was gone doing some personal business over the weekend. The order has been placed and I am waiting for an invoice to make the wire transfer based on the SA rand. All my payments are in rand, so exchange rate is part of the process. Hopefully it will be favorable, but that has no impact on the order being placed and timely payment being made.

I have two orders for just the lower crash bars with skid plate. Those riders are going to mount them up with other brand upper bars. That's going to add some knowledge to the forum on how that works and looks. From what I can tell, it won't be a problem, but I suspect it's going to look quite bad ass, but just a different appeal from the Rumbux hoop. ::017::

Yep, that's the mode we are in. ::017::

The wire transfer was made on Thursday afternoon, so now we wait for the bars to be built. I had some unexpected business in Salt Lake City this weekend, so haven't posted an update. Sorry!

For those waiting on the current order, the units are built and off to powder coat. Shipment from SA should occur early next week! ::012:: ::012::

Bars are wrapped and packed. We had a minor malfunction with the wire transfer, the money was sent long ago, but the SA bank hasn't released it to Rumbux's account. Hopinhg for that on Monday, so the bars can go to shipping.

The crate of Rumbux bars went to the shipping agent on Monday.

No waybill yet, but things are moving and the bars should be in Vegas by next Monday if things go to plan. Won't know when they clear customs until the agent pings me, but hope to get them re-packed and shipped out to peeps next week, early if possible.

They make each crate up from scratch. Welded steel square tubing frame with wood screwed to it. The crate is welded up by the same guys that weld the bars and is a piece of art all by itself. I may bring this one home and sell it. I had to abandon the last one at the airport as I couldn't quite get it to fit in the truck.
