Eric,

How many interested do you have? When do you think the next order will arrive to customers at this point?

I just put my Givi bars to the "test" and they are pretty much destroyed. Also found out I apparently DO need a skid plate.

ac
Sorry to hear you tested your crash protection. Hope you're ok, the bike can be repaired.

Things have been really dead since July. I have no one on board for an order, but the KTM 1190 Adventures are starting to trickle in and I need to stir those guys up and see if I can generate some interest for the Rumbux products for the KTM and BMW F800 bikes. If I can do that, it will help with Super Ten stuff too, as I an mix and match to get up to a number where the shipping costs out.

One of the KTM guys indicated he wasn't going to be ready to order until Jan, so not much help there. I'll do some posting on the other boards today and see what develops, then post here if it looks like things will happen in a timely manner. With the 6 week process, hopefully I can get people to see that ordering earlier than when they expect their bikes to show up is a good thing.

@E4R - Sounds good, stay tuned. ::008::

Bumping this thread for the new order. I have 3 on board and will be placing a new order with Rumbux shortly if we can get a couple more on board. Everything is the same, except I have lowered the price on the three part kit. Current pricing is as follows. Feel free to re-post this to other forums along with my email addy eric.gonedark@gmail.com The KTM boards or GS800 guys might be interested, but I'm having difficulty getting on the KTM board due to their policies and I'm not willing to violate their forum rules. All prices are with free shipping in the lower 48 US states.

S10 3-Part kit (Upper crash bars, lower bash frame & skid plate) - $xxx
S10 2-Part kit (lower bash frame and skid plate) - $xxx
OEM Add on upper crash bars for the Yamaha OEM bars, (replaces the oem upper hoop with better side protection) - $xxx
Light brackets, (pair), for OEM Halogen or PIAA 530s (can be used for most single post lights too) - $xx with any order. Separate would be plus shipping costs.
S10 Soft Pannier brakcets - $xxx

F800GS 3-Part kit - $xxx

KTM 1190 3-Part kit - $xxx

Since I'm placing an order, if you want a replacement part due to crash damage, PM me for a price. I can swing some customer loyalty discount your way.

Got questions? Please ask them! PM or emails are fine too.

The current order just came in and I have it in the garage. I am taking pre-orders for the next shipment. 2013 pricing remains the same for 2014 at this point.

The November order has shipped out to customers. I do have one 2-Part Kit, (Lower Bash Frame & Skid Plate), in stock and ready to ship. Also some light brackets.

I am also taking pre-orders for a new order with Rumbux. Hoping to place this in Jan and manage a Feb delivery. Still need a few to make that happen, so if you're thinking about ordering, now is the time to get in on this order and have your bars before Spring!

On the cusp of placing another order with Rumbux, please contact me if you'd like to get in on this order. Delivery should be early April at this point, possibly sooner. That gets your crash bars to you before prime riding season starts, in many cases.

Just an update. The order I just received is sold out and I am taking pre-orders for the next order that I hope to place with Rumbux in the next two weeks. If you want your crashbars for Spring riding, call me now to get in on the next order. With luck, delivery should be by the end of May. Pricing remains the same at this time. May go up later this year.

$xxx for the 3-Part Kit

$xxx for the 2-Part Kit

$xxx for the Add on to Yamaha oem crash bars

$xxx for the soft Pannier/rear protection bars.

$xx for light brackets (pair)

These are the brackets that fit the Yamaha OEM H7 halogen lights. You can skip the yoke and they work with most single post mount lights with 1/4 or 3/8" mounting bolts. Larger than that, I would not recommend drilling the hole out for use with heavier lights. The brackets are plenty strong, just not as much meat at the hole area if drilled out too large.

I've been a little lax on posting here. The previous order arrived last Friday, 5/30, and was re-packaged and shipped out to customers on 5/31.

I have the minimum orders needed to place another order, and will be doing that shortly. If you want to order Rumbux Crash bars for the Super Tenere, KTM 1190 (Std or Adv), or BMW F650/800GS twins ('08-'12), then PM, email or call me this week to get in on that order. email is in the profile or first post. 435-817-0809

Deliveries to customers are expected to be during the week of July 21st, if not sooner. The 6 week time frame has been pretty steady, but with international shipping and all the things in-between, things can happen to slow the process down.

Pricing is currently back up to $xxx for Super Ten 3-Part Kit, and $xxx for the KTM and BMW 3-Part kits, but the Super Ten kits will likely be going up to $xxx in the near future. Possibly increases in the others as well.

I can also now get crash bar bags for the Rumbux upper crash bars. Waterproof zippers and very nice, secure velcro attachement at 3 or 4 places, depending on which bars. I've been testing the Super Ten version with a pre-preduction version and they rock. Nice to have the extra storage for stuff you want to get to quickly. And they come off and go on very easily, so can be taken inside the motel room at night if need be. Price on those is not completely set, but they should be around $xx/pair. Reflective silver, or non-reflective blue, orange or red piping.

Got any pix of those bags, Eric? Tried the Rumbux website but could not find anything.
I have some pics of the pre-production bags I'm testing. And a set of production bags for the GS that are smaller than the Super Ten ones. Again, I don't have final pricing, so the $xx/pair figure is a wild a** guess based on what I paid for the production set of GS bags.

Here is a shot in the wild -

Here is a shot of the bags after that trip.

I stuffed my heated jacket liner, (Gerbings), in one, and my heavy waterproof gloves and the pants rain liner in the other. Could have gotten more in.

Note that the zipper here is just a heavy YKK one, not the waterproof production zipper.

The bags are held on by three pairs of velcro flaps. One side is hook, the other loop. These are large enough that you loop one side around the bar, then fold the mating flap over that. Lots of overlap. These are very secure, to any speed the S10 is capable of. And yet, come off quickly and easily too, when you want them to! Edit - The bags are not just fabric, but the front and back panels are padded, and the middle will fold up well, but also appears to be double thickness. Nice touches.

These are essentially 10" x 10" x 3" with one of the corners nipped off so it's not just a 10" square shape, but fits the shape of the bars.

Here is a good shot of the GS bag. It's smaller, uses four pairs of velcro flaps and fits on either the top hoop or middle one. The on bike shots are my wife's F650GS2 with brand new Rumbux guards on it. Note the waterproof zipper.

The piping around the bag can be had in Reflective Grey or Non-reflective colors:
Blue
Red
Orange

As you can see from this flash pic, the reflective grey pops nicely.
