I'm going to try that but I think I'm going with the denali mount SuperDuper used......what a pain. Boy Yamaha sure doesn't make it easy!!

What's wrong with mounting it this way using a longer bolt and bushing/spacer (from Home Depot)?

yeah, yamaha and piaa have both done a really lame job with the u.s. "kit". heaven forbid they raise the price $2 and provide a switch mount... (i'm half surprised i didn't have to run down to pep boys to buy bulbs for the lamps.)

though, like ron says, you should be able to mount it to the right side mirror clamp, with its horizontal pinch bolts.

I got the Denali switch mount from twisted throttle today and having difficulty mounting it with the heated grip controller mount in the way. Does anybody have a picture of the PIAA switch mount and does it work well?

Its just a flat Alum plate with a hole in it.....

I got mine yesterday, mounted it up no problem but my heated grips controller is integrated.

I got the Denali mount today and mounted it up, its perfect.
