Just finished another GREAT ride! About 150 or so miles, including a ferry ride across Kootenay Bay. Great weather here today as well.

About 8 miles out, the lead rider (of 3) caught a medium size buck deer. He was riding a ST1300 and we all thought he was going to miss the deer, but a last second (wrong) move by the forest rat and he caught his head/antler with his tail trunk. I picked up one of the antlers, but could not locate the deer, even though we thought the impact had broken his neck. Only damage to the bike was the tail trunk.

Beaver Creek, Yukon. Heading home tomorrow. Great trip. We took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez yesterday. Rode from Valdez, Alaska to here today. Valdez is absolutely stunning. Richardson Highway. Google it. Gotta tell you .... haven't seen anything like it.

Home tomorrow. Let's be safe out there. R

We are on our way home as well. A little over 500 miles today and about 650 to home tomorrow. Had a couple close calls this morning with more forest rats!

Whttier - neat place!!!! I like riding through the train tunnel there.

Be sure to wave to my Aunt & Uncle as you pass by! ;-) Bozeman is a cool town. It seems like a nice place to live IF you can get past the winters they have.

I was on the road by 5:45 this morning - I waved, but not sure what time they get up in the morning........ ;)

Rolled in home at 3:45 this afternoon. A little over 650 miles and right at 10 hours, so we made good time.

The total trip was about 2,800 miles. Good trip and pretty good weather, although I could have done without the 90+ temps today for our last hour or so on the road.
