Yeah, there are some options...not cheap though. They are $800 - $1200 and not all of them have humidifiers which is not a good thing. Then you still have to plug it in somewhere...

Boy this thread really got off-topic!

BTW Fred - Sonya and I may be headed to STL at the end of June...if so, I'll give you a shout.
Please do, Joe. Would be great to see you both again.

BTW, my son has black OEM luggage on his 14 ES and likes them. I did put blue Lock Tite on the lock screws for him when he got it, though.

How's that for getting us back on topic. ;D

Mods can break out the CPAP discussion if they'd like...

I find the OEM case locks a little cranky sometimes but don't forget you must push down on the lid to let the mechanism move freely. I too put loctite on mine when installed because of the the things I read here on the forum. I also neglected to mention that with the big Givi top box in place, opening the side cases is no bueno. But, the top case comes off and goes on so easy, it's not a big deal. Anything I'm going to need while on the go gets put into the top box to mitigate the Chinese fire drill.

Lock-title on the screws is a must. I got luck and my lock fell apart on a case as I opened it (dealer installed locks). A shot of graphite lock lube in the lock where the key goes helps.

No, I don't normally have issues getting then to open, but rather lock. Quite a few times I gave to attempt locking a case more than once. Pushing down firmly and turning the key just past the locked position and feeling a click will usually do the trick.

I have a 15 ST ES. My wife is trading her R1200 RT on one. She is considering soft luggage for her's(I have Jesse's on mine) but she may be interested in the Yamaha cases a few of you are trying to sell. Have you come up with a price?

file an insurance claim for the CPAP, dont tell them you are using it on a bike. Might mention that you travel at work and after time have noticed better nights sleep when at home..............hell they are suppose to be doing "preventive" health care nowadays.
