OK, I just remembered that I have a horn and relay to install. Will we have time to work that in?

Excellent. Did you happen to read about the washers? I've only got six ss washers. I've got a couple 45 degree fittings, one's for me, four straights. Two #9 bits, a new 6mm tap. We're golden.
Phil, do you have a bench mounted vise? I've got a loose one I can bring. How about a drill, again, I can bring mine. I will bring my soft jaws though.
Do we need to bring anything else? Salads? Dessert? Main? Drinks?
Looks like 'shine' right now, but we're rain or shine, right?
Oh, I've got a KLR guy that wants to come, OK?

No vise so bring that. I have everything else covered. Just no doohickey doing. (kidding!!!) All are welcome.

Rain or shine. No pansies allowed! ::025::

If you are doing fluids, BRING YOUR FLUIDS AND A WAY TO TAKE THEM AWAY. I don't do hazardous waste hauling. If you are spooning tires, bring those but I can get rid of the old ones as I have the ability to properly have those discarded.

I have rags, hand cleaners, etc.

Rules:

1. Have fun.

2. Bench lying, err, racing encouraged.

3. You are here to do the work with a lot of extra help and others who have been there. Don't expect someone else to work on your bike for you BUT we will help with everything.

4. Have fun.

5. NO SHOES IN MY HOUSE!! Just take them off when going in to use the bathroom, etc.

6. Have fun.

7. Give the BMW guys grief because.

8. Bring your tools but don't worry if you don't have something or forgot it, you can borrow what you don't have.

9. Network and get to know your fellow motorcyclist.

10. I've had complete BMW assectomoies done in the amount of time set aside for this tech day. WE CAN DO IT!

I have a laptop with the service manual on it. My bike needs no work but is available for reference and as a template for what I have done.

No I sure didn't Don but I got the zerks today so I'll get some washers from work tomorrow. I'll also get some #9 drill bits just to be safe. I just wish we had a 6mm taps at work I could get. :'(

LOL, I don't think we'll burn through that many bits, but it's nice to have extras. ::008::

See you guys tomorrow!

Lasagna, Ziti, and salad for lunch. I have water, soda, gatorade, and coffee handled.

Someone could always bring donuts or bagels if they wanted.
