Stages of typical BMW rider denial:
1. It isn't really breaking, just lies from jealous people that wish they could own a BMW!
2. It's breaking, but only VERY few, and it's an internet conspiracy to ruin the good BMW name.
3. Ok. It's breaking like everyone said, but it isn't a German engineered part!
4. Let's give BMW a good cheer for fixing a part that wouldn't ever brake on any other motorcycle in the world! Yippee!
5. BMW is still the best, and everyone else is just mad because they can't throw away money like I can!
