I purchased this power clamp drink holder from Aerostich several years ago and used it on a previous bike. It's been a good one. I haven't tried it on the Tenere yet, so I was trying a few different mounting locations. What say ye on the location in the pics below? Thanks in advance.

If it's coffee, that's a great spot... Cold drink, not so great because of radiator heated air being pretty warm there... Put on right side for cold drinks. Best regards.

Easy to reach across with your left hand.
If you use regular drinking straws you will quickly learn to cut the top at an angle and put the open side forward. Otherwise, wind will suck your water out through the straw.

maybe one on each side, at a stop light or sign when throttle closed see me getting drink from throttle side. even a cross draw might work , will check it out tomorrow.

That's an idea. Also, if you couldn't tell from Aerostich's site, you can unbolt the clamp, via an Allen head bolt, and rotate the clamp vertical if you decided to mount it on your handlebars.

Not to highjack a perfectly good thread, but I've trended towards using fanny pack style water bottle holders strapped around a tank bag as the best way to carry liquids for access as I ride.
