I heard the venue they were at had a mask rule for everyone entering. If you don't follow their rules you get asked to leave. If you don't leave. The cop lights you up.

Still. I bet I could have defused the situation without zappin' somebody. Like I said, plenty of stupidity to go around.

Common sense is not enough at least in the USA. I knew the first day this crap hit, we might as well give up on ever again being free to make our own minds up on safety, as safety will be forced on us for the rest of eternity. The virus never did worry me, the government crap is what worried me 6 months ago and still does. Every day I wonder if it's even worth getting out of bed if I'm forced to wear a mask just to walk outside my front door. Yes it's that stupid here. Even on the street at midnight with nobody whithin 1 block, law says you need a mask. Only for 30 days though. Sure! (30 day rule extended every 30 days for another 30 days every month from now til eternity, or cases drop below zero, whichever comes last).

What if the victim had been a 20 yr old man with gang tats thug?
Then, most likely, it wouldn't matter how logical I was, there wouldn't be any compliance. Not sure I would refer to any of them as a victim. Everybody involved made voluntary decisions to have it end like it did.

Day #252 gone of 2,000,000. 1,999,748 to go. Things are better for sure. Virus will be over in 5400 years give or take a few. Don't know why I bother to even wake up in the morning as I doubt I'll be here 5400 years from now to ever live without idiot masks again.

You need to just get on the bike and stay away from highways go sit next to a stream/lake/ocean somewhere. Preferably with a riding buddy.
Since you are in the Denver area, do what John Wayne said and "Go west young man"
;)

Buy yourself a bike with the Dual Clutch and then you will have a reason to get up in the morning :)

Sad news today that President Trump and the First Lady tested positive. Hope Hicks was another one also testing positive. Wish them a quick recovery.

Personally my experience of testing positive was very depressing and without my cupboard being full I was on a restricted diet. I think that may have contributed to the headache as much as the China flu did.

Again I felt like I had sinus issues, my cough let up after the 3rd day. Wed. the Health Dept. did their usual daily checkup call and gave me the OK to resume normal activities.

Yesterday I felt better than I had for the whole 10 days of quarantine...I also pigged out on some good grub and sweet tea, which I think helped a lot.

BTW, I’m 62, good health and on no meds.

Yes this is sad. The mind blower is there are still some who are not taking precautions. Masks and partitions are there for a reason. The ones who are not using them are spreading this virus. My wife and I got a to go order and were blown away by all the people who are still entering eating establishments and breathing in the recirculated germs.

I know darn well I take a chance of contracting COVID anytime I come within a few feet of anyone outside my home. Why not lessen the chance by wearing a mask or distancing myself?

Freedom it works both ways. I once visited a few towns close to Alabama hills,ca about 4 months ago and many people weren't wearing masks or taking any precautions. I asked the worker why this was and he replied that the local sheriff is not enforcing it and there for some people will exercise there right to do or not do something.

People are letting their guard down now. Everybody hang in there. A vaccine is ,hopefully, right around the corner. There are stores here that would kick you out for no mask a week or 2 ago. Not so much now.

this morning I get to put on nice dress clothes and attend the funeral of a beautiful 10 year old girl . the daughter of friends of ours . she had a history of seizures , they found her in her bed room not breathing after a seizure .
I mention this just for perspective , life has other dangers waiting . the total focus on this virus (the virus can be bad ) is causing a rise in other issues . live your lives as you see best . for life at best is far too short.
active cases here in my county of hays is now at 1277 .... 55 fatalities since this all began . things are better . for now.

There are many people that don't believe that covid is real, or that "it's not as bad as they say". That's it's just political. It is real, and it is bad. . . . ask the people that have lost loved ones. But, it's also being used as a political tool. There is a bunch of hypocrisy going on. You can get into a packed airplane, but not a church. You can go through a drive-thru or grocery store, but not trick-or-treat. You can protest, but not have a wedding or be a father at the birth of his child. You can go into a restaurant, but not a bar. . . . unless the bar can serve enough food to make 51% profit. Just my OPINION: Numbers start going down until we have a holiday. . . . nobody takes precautions. . . . then there's the surge in cases. If Memorial, and Labor Day caused this big of a surge. . . . imagine what Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to cause. They mind as well just open everything back up, and get everybody back to work. We are our worst enemy. The only thing that has a chance at all to possibly eliminate covid is a vaccine.

On a positive note. Covid is reported to be more contagious than the seasonal flu. So, if taking precautions are working against covid. . . . they should be at least as effective against the flu.

Precautions work. . . . if you take them. . . . everyday, not just every so often. For the record, I keep my distance, wear a face covering, and constantly wash my hands. . . . and hope that it will be enough.
