Ok...Bought some new LED bulbs that act as White running lights when just on and as amber flashers when turning!!

Check out the vid of ‘em.... It’s like having a set of extra driving lights!!

Super Tenere Running Lights

I swapped out the relay for one off ebay. It’s advertised for an R1 LED load but works as plug and play on the Tenere... Very easy to change out.

If anyone's interested - Got ‘em from here:

Of course, you'd need the clear lenses if you want the bright white running light look.
I got mine off ebay... the 02-06 R1 bulbs fit the Tenere.

Do you mean the 02-06 "lenses" fit the Tenere?

That's pretty cool.

Yep... fit snug!
I had the amber bulbs in them originally but didn't like the fact that you could see the color... swapped them to the chrome bulbs but they were terrible, not bright at all.
Searching for LED bulbs, found these ones.
Got the regular LED bulbs for the rear and changed out the Flash relay so they all flash at the right rate.... and bob's ya uncle! LOL!
(Do a search on ebay for an R1 LED Flasher and you'll find one).

I thought (i read it) that is you go to LED bulbs you have to add a resistor due to the voltage drop. Are you saying by buying the LED relay and swapping it out is the only mod you will have to do before adding front and rear LED bulbs?

Am I over thinking this?

Perhaps, a little! ;)

This is all you need... Not necessarily from ebay of course, but this is the one I bought... simple to fit (Remove the right side panel, top panel above it and the relay is the second one along... two pin. Remove the OEM, remove the rubber holder and unclip the connector... reverse using the new LED relay)
All four turn signals will flash at the right speed... much easier than messing with inline resistors and looks much more factory.
The good news is that regular bulbs will still work with the replaced relay too so you can mix the rear and front with standard and LED... should you want to:

Ok Zamfield,

You started this. We are like Farkle Crack Heads.

You provided an excellent link to the front led bulbs.
You have provided a valid link for the relay.

We are gonna pester you until you send links for the lenses and rear bulbs.

At that point, you have fully delivered the really cool solution.

Post up bro. LOL

This is great stuff. That front lens on ebay is gone. Anyone know of a source for stock-looking front clear lenses?

Found a lot sourced from the UK on ebay. Those were the first I had seen on this side of the pond.

This thread is gonna require fast response on Ebay! Lol
